Im not running a high power 6.7 truck, say Like in the SPE dragster, so I'm thinking I'm good.
But I am still considering the SPE oil pan though...

Yes, but is more flow than it should be? Again bypass filtration needs low flow to work correctly and not pull too much oil from the main system and is generally restricted on the outlet side of the filters, you may have opened up that restriction.
More flow through the bypass system is not a good thing.
