TPMS Adder
I recentlyt purchased a 2008 F-250 fopr towing a travel trailer.
The truck dod not originally have TPMS, and I upgraded the radio in the truck to an aftermarket radio with an 11" screen for GPS, and a backup camera.
the new Radio also reads OBD2, and as part of that, it can display engine and vehicle gauges, and tire pressure.
Does the basic wiring package do TPMS (IE is the recviever built into the chassis computer) so I can just add the TPMS transmitters to the tires, or will the transmitters do nothing until I add an entire TPMS system?
And I might add, than you ford for such a tight rtadio pocket, gotta shoehorn the Sattelite receiver and the can-bus interface into whatever little air pockets I can find....
