Flu shot Y/N

OK I'm in a bit of an argument with a co-worker.

My position, if you did not get the flu shot but have already gotten the flu, (with in the last two weeks) then you are already building immunity to the flu.
You do not need the shot

He says BS.
You still need the shot.

Opinions………….as if I think no one has any

I never get flu shots, and I rarely get sick. Besides, don't you know flu shots are a government conspiracy to inject you with micro-trackers?

The problem with the shots given out as 'flu' shots, is that until a virus hits, they do not know which shot to give, which is too late, they already picked one earlier, which may not be the right one. SO,,,,,. I do not get flu shots, and I get flu as often as the folk who do get flu shots. (and I don't have the reaction probability.)

I got the shot about 2 weeks ago. No problems yet. Although a few of the guys at work who didn't get the shot are complaining of flu like symptoms. Hmmm......

I got both the flu and pnumonia shots about a month ago. One in each arm. I never have had a reaction from a flu shot.

Well, looks like you won't have to worry about getting a flu shot since THEY ALREADY RAN OUT!!!

You can ask a Doctor but my wife the Lab Supervisor says that if you have had the flu this year you do not need a shot, you are now immune to that strain.

There are THREE flu strains circulating this year. The one that they vaccinated for is one of them but it has mutated so the shot is only giving partial immunity. There is enough in common with all three strains this year that the shot (or the flu) should make any symptoms of any flu you get much less severe tho.

I had a flu shot this year, as well as the pneumonia shot, both for the first time. I normally don't get the flu and if I do it is mild but since I now have diabetes the doc insisted that I have them..
