Who makes the most bad azz, indestructible, lasts forever, never wears out, ball joint is stronger than Superman, high quality, amazing adjustable track bar that money can buy? Because I wasted $200 on the Rough Country junk and they want $45 for a new ball joint. Ain't happnin'.
I've been completely happy with everything I've purchased from PMF. I'm running their dual steering stabilizer too. They also sell bad-azz ball joints for when that time comes. Everything seems to be extremely high quality and heavy duty.
I did. I do want good quality. But $500 for a bar with joints on the ends is pretty steep. Shop owner's kids must want to go to Disney World.
I have considered the drop bracket route, but the issues there are it's slightly less strong because of the laws of physics, and it can't be dialed in as perfectly as an adjustable bar because it gives you three positions you can pick from for the frame end of the bar. So for now I'm putting that on the back burner.
I wonder if anybody has used those "Kryptonite" branded track bars? They claim they are indestructible and have a lifetime warranty. Still pricey at $399 but ....
Well, you did specify "bad azz"... It is certainly top notch quality. Looks like the price went up about $100 since I bought mine.
Yeah, just noticed that myself. I bought mine before the increase, but haven't yet installed it (plus, the new Bilstein stabilizer). I had to buy the additional mount for the stabilizer, as well.
Just have to find time to install, then run it down for alignment afterward - unless there's a trick to installing it without necessitating a realignment?
I went this route,..... as (a level kit it included) the drop bracket. When my track bar wears out, I will simple purchase an oem unit as it will be a direct fit (no adjusting/weak links to wear out). With 80k miles on this set up and still feels great, I cannot complain. I also removed the front anti-sway bar from day one, so my front axle can flex more and maybe this allows the ends of the track bar to move more keeping it "young".

I went with a BD Diesel track bar and replaced the ball joint that came with the kit (they used an OEM one) with a Kryptonite ball joint that has a grease fitting and a lifetime warranty.
