LED third brake light
I have searched the forums on here and didn’t see anything related, so if I missed it, I apologize I’ve got a 2000 F250, and I’m replacing all the lights. I’m opting for LEDs, but had a friend, who has a ‘97 250, that told me I shouldn’t use the LED third brake light b/c it may interfere with the torque converter operating properly. From what I’ve seen (down the rabbit hole on google), it’s pre ‘99 that had similar issues. However, I don’t trust google as much as I do y’all on here. Any info or help would be greatly appreciated. This is my first Ford and I’ve done a lot to it so far, and I don’t want to screw anything up, so better to be safe than sorry. Any help is definitely appreciated

So far my cruise control works great. Would flipping to LEDs cause the problem ? I should have included I have the 6.8L V-10. I have seen some of the other threads related to the Diesels, but not on the gas. I don’t know if that would make a difference.
