I don't really feel the ~33 horsepower their website claims. Also, I don't have any flutter. Truly it was kindof anticlimactic. I'll be road tripping soon so I'll be able to see if the mpgs improve.
I agree that that T pipe is a restriction, but if you really want to see the biggest V-10 exhaust restriction look at the inside of the exhaust manifolds! Such a shame that Banks has stopped producing their long tube headers, I could feel the difference after I installed them on my old EX.
I have studied that for years and have always wondered if it worked to help scavenge better than an open pipe. There is a lot of debate and I don't have the dyno tests to show so mine's stock until I have to do something to my '04 5.4l. I am at 240k so I feel it has served me well.

Knock on wood, my factory studs & nuts are still holding with no leaks at 175k. I do not look forward to having to get those off.
There's not many aftermarket headers to be found anymore. JBA, Gibson, Headman..?
