Question about DANA44 differential

Hello, do you know how the driveshaft attaches to the DANA 44 differential ? I saw online that it can be attached with two threaded U-shaped pieces. Is this correct ?

Your universal joint is missing two of its bearing caps. The bearing caps can fall off easily if they are not secured. The other two are there where they are encapsulated in the driveshaft flange (press fit) with the clips securing the two caps. Once the two missing caps are in place then two U-bolts with lock washers and nuts should be used to secure the U-joint to the differential flange. Second picture is of one of two like what it would use, but possibly not the exact part number.

OK, I have another new universal joint that I had with the parts, I have to see if it is the right model, however I don't think I have the U-threaded rods, I have to look

I looked at the one I had in stock and it looks similar to the one in use. From the dimensions it would be a "1310", about 80mm on each side. However, it doesn't have a grease fitting... The old one is labeled "SPICER F2-5-69", but I can't find anything online. I only found one U-clamp, so I'll have to buy those too. The only problem will be finding the right part number, as the specific model for this 1960s DANA44 differential is mis-referenced; it may be a "standard" universal joint and I'm not aware of it.

I found a Dana 5153x u-joint and the flanges on Rockauto, normally it should correspond whether for the axle dimensions or the cap diameters, I'm learning so much with this truck, I'm going to end up knowing it by heart from the tires to the roof 😆
