Ive been going through my old documentation collected over the years and figured Id make available for other folks. Sorry for the dirty pages...these have been through a couple rebuilds since the late 1970's when my dad collected them. Some of these parts lists and bearing numbers I really have not seen online any place yet as they are Spicer documentation and not Fords shop manual info.

1961 (Dana 24 only transfer case used) Ford Truck Shop Manual has a section just for transfer case torque specs but of course nothing about the flange. I think I used 125 ft lbs.
Same issue I ran into with the 64/68 shop manuals. The NP205 is well documented online and has a very similar design, ball bearings, bearing retainers. I went with that models torque spec which is 90-130ftlbs. I start at 90 and increase until the cotter pin aligns correctly.
Another reference that I have is this 1959 Four Wheel Drive Operation and Service manual. About the same overall information as the 1961 and 1966 Ford Truck Shop manuals and some other years. No torque specs in this one at all. 1959 was the first year for factory 4x4 offered from Ford in the F100 and F250 series. Dana 24 transfer case also.
