I was looking at your truck (awesome ride), and i saw you had A/C. Did your truck have it from the factory, or is it a kit. The reason i ask is becuase my old compressor is knocking its brains out and i was wondering if i could convert it to a new style compressor for better efficiency. Thanks for your help, or anyone else that may have comments.
Thanks, probably should have added AC conversion to the subject line.
I had mine converted at a local AC shop in the off season. This was some time ago with no problems. The cost was $500. total including the lines, dryer and Sanden (?) compressor and brackets. Sanyo also makes one. It's way better than the old twin Harley style! Cools as good as it ever did and its almost unnoticable when the compressor comes on.
