Rear panel cab interior install

I have done a bunch of searching and haven't found the answer. Hopefully I am not going over a road well travelled and really would appreciate any help.

I got the main headliner installed but am struggling with the rear panels. I have already scuffed them up a bit trying to get them to fit.

It looks like they mount at the bottom on the raised rail along the back of the cab and that sets them in place to be fit in the other areas. I assume you have to drill holes to mount it to the rail as it has the "bend" relief lines and three spots for screws in each panel.

I can't get the panel to line up into the molding on the door edge. I can't get the bottomed part of the side of the panel to seat while keeping the top edge along the window level. It is a real bear and I just can't get it. I get the side lined up and the top is out of alignment and vice versa.

also, the top insert that runs all the way across the top and basically joins the 2 panels, where does that seat? Below the window molding or just covering it? It looks like there are screws that hold it in place along the top.

Side of panel along edge of door. You can see how as it lines up from top to bottom the bottom moves away from them door edge and cant seat in the molding Do I secure this side in place first with a couple of screws. And then push everything else into place along the bottom to get the top to line up?

I assume this gets screwed to the rail to secure it on the bottom and where it gets positioned makes the top Level. I drilled one hole already but it's not on the right place.

This is the top insert just put in place. Where does it land in relation to the molding. It doesnt look like I goes under the molding with the fabric trim piece in place.

What panels did you get? Are they for the same year as your truck?

Installed on 55, also Dennis carpenter trim kit.

What are the 3 holes on the bottom of each side for along with the embossed bend lines?

When the panel is pushed up in place below the window the bottom of the panel will be vertical. I drilled holes after the panel was installed. The third picture shows a screw in the lower left.

Thanks to @oscar55 for helping me figure it out!! I wouldn't have figure it without your help as it never occurred to me that the black retainers went behind the sheet metal. Everything slid nicely into place after that. You definitely need to wet the back of the cardboard on the curved section as suggested in the instructions. It makes sliding in and conforming to the curve much easier.

However, I think the bottom section with the relief molded in folds forward and bolts down to the reinforcement rail. The reason i think that is it is the only way that the bottom follows the contour flush without have to cross over the sheet metal reinforcement. See pics.

I decided to put 2 screws in the lower corners by the rear window to hold everything up in place. It brought everything in and made it look like a "factory" install. I know the screws were originally under the window molding but they wouldn't have caught everything and I think this looks better and was easier to install.

Where the 2 sides overlap it doesn't lay flat. I think I have a solution and will update if it works.

Look at the left side of the picture. You can see with the bottom folded up along the relief lines the panel follows the bottom smoothly.
