Thanks for the info guys. I'm just not a fan of adjusting my own brakes. Maybe if I was 20 years younger. I think i'll take it to a shop that deals with brake repair/replacement. Or, I may have a buddy come over some afternoon and assist. I know now it's likely just an adjustment that the dealer did not do.

Off the ground. I don't think you can do anything with the axle while there is weight on it.

I got the online Dexter manual yesterday and now see how they want everything adjusted. Looks like my project list just got a little longer.

Thanks for mentioning that the bearings being loose could also cause a temperature (and pressure) difference. I was focused on the too tight side of the equation.
