Hello.
I'm restoring a1966 f250 that was left abandoned by my uncle for 23 years. I have so far:
Replaced the engine completely. The original engine ran for about a year, but got a headgasket leak and threw a rod. That or the premium I put in it that day for the first time was a bad idea...
Replaced the transmission
Restored wiring, body paint.
Added a very ugly radio so I have something to listen to. I can't afford the factory look alike and the one that was in the truck doesn't work.
Refurbished the original carborator.
The engine I replaced is a 390 with an HEI. I reused my autolite carborator that came with the truck.
