77 f250 distributor
I recently got a 77 f250 project. The original engine(8 cycl) had been swapped to a 1971 300 straight 6. Love the 300 so will work with that. The engine is a 1971 so the distributor has points and condenser. Wondering if I can get a distributor that has the electronic ignition and slide that in? Would like to stay away from the points and condenser. I assume I'd need a new ignition module to match the distributor year.

I think you can easily swap out for a later Duraspark distributor, but the folks in the Ford Inline Six, 200, 250, 4.9L / 300 forum would know more about that for sure.
