Long distance crusing speed

Hi -

I live down in Texas, where the roads sometimes seem to stretch out forever. I am usually more comfortable running 80 - 90 mph vs. 65-70 on these never ending stretches. Is it o.k. to cruise long term at these speeds? (Engine turning about 3000 - 3200)

These engines will run all day at 3200 rpm, just keep an eye on your gauges.

Fuel economy does seem to suffer over 2100 rpm though.
