Good evening, I searched for a bit and am having a bit of a time finding my answer so I figured I'd make a thread.. I recently acquired a 1995 e350 ambulance that is missing the headlights, grill, passenger fender, header panel and the piece of metal that goes under the grill. Would I be able to order parts from a 97+ e series chassis and be good to bolt up or would modifications need to be done?

Grille: I can install a newer grille on my 95 but I will have to cut slots to hold the lower grille tabs. Headlight buckets and related are different between composite headlines and rectangular. Newer grill will have ford emblem in grille and we also have ford emblem in our hood. I think at some point there there is a hood release mechanism modification required.
There are several folks who have done a front clip swap to the 2009 modern front end. Not so sure about mix and match. Heres a good thread on SMB forum that might help. SMB front clip swap
Be careful, sometimes gaps are spaced different, panels not stamped the same, junkyard is often the best for perfect fit.
Doing my best to go to a junk yard here and there. I managed to get a fender and various fasteners (Good ol pocket fuses/fasteners haha) She is coming together but looks like I may have to modify the 97 header panel a bit
One last question.. I am having a hell of a time finding the headlight retainer clips for the halogen headlights where you replace the bulb and not the whole headlight.. any reccomendations?
