The trim panel under the steering wheel is rattling. Before I bought my truck I asked a few people about interior rattles on the 17+. They all said no, absolutely none. When you specifically ask about that panel they say oh yea, it's been rattling since day one....why lie about it?
well mine started rattling, in drive or park. As soon as I put my had on it to stops, even with light touch. If I just touch the throttle, it goes away.
I can't see anything that would cause the rattling, no broken clips, no loose plugs hitting it. It seems to be in sync with the vibration of the motor.
New panels look the same, how did yall fix yours?
I gather, it's fairly common. With the radio with factory bass on or driving it doesn't rattle. $90k truck rattling interior. It's the tan piece under the steering wheel.
