My new truck does not have the Pro Power Inverter. It looks like there is a plain panel covering that spot, with no screws or bolts holding it in place. Maybe clipped in?
I am curious how it is attached, and what it looks like behind it. I am not near the truck to look for a few days.
The reason I ask is, I am scheduled for Line-X end of week. I am wondering if there is value in having that piece removed and coated separately then put back. Possible reason might be as a spot to put future air fitting if the routing to future underneath air tank makes sense. If not, I will just have them coat the bed as normal there and find another spot for the fitting.
If you do not have the inverter, this is how I installed one in my now gone 2016. I took it out prior to trading it. Ran cables directly from the battery. You can get aluminum blind nuts and bolts to mount it. As for the cover on your truck, I would remove it and have it coated separately.
I think you guys didn't read what I wrote. I don't want PowerPro, I am not adding an inverter, and don't need to locate the receptacles or inverter.
I want to know on the 2025 model year trucks how the panel blank in the bed is attached, and what may be behind it since I am not physically at the truck to look. Perhaps nobody has looked or knows.

I have. If I were you, and you were going to coat your bed, I would find a way to make a more substantial panel and mount it in the bed before coating. That plastic panel is uber cheezy (thanks, Ford...) and doomed to fail over time.

I kind of thought so when I glanced at it picking up the truck last week. I figured Line-X would stiffen it up some.
I was thinking if it can be removed easily and coated separately, I can use it as is or make a more substantial one at any later point. But if they line it "in place", I have less future options.
So do you know how it is attached? Friction clips?
anyone have the part number for the pro power plastic plate that mounts in the bed. granted I know where the inverter mounts. I have a 4K inverter that fits under my rear seat and plenty of 00 guage wire to run to a battery......the official plastic cover plate would be interesting.
