My 2025 F350 was delivered to the dealer this week & I am having the dealer add a few things before I pick it up. I have a rear sway bar on my 2017 F350 & I want to have the new one set up the same way. My salesperson got back to me today & said I have to go aftermarket because Ford doesn’t have one. That seems funny to me because I remember discussions about them on this forum. Also I bought one for my 2017 which was installed by the dealer before I picked it up. I told the salesman I think he is wrong but who knows, maybe Ford doesn’t provide them anymore. Anyone know for sure? Thanks

SRW F350 with Camper Package gets a rear sway bar from factory.
I added a Hellwig Bigwig sway bar to my 24 F350. It was about $700 as Robert Sloan stated above. I’m really happy with it and I would certainly buy in again. But it was expensive……
Wouldn’t air bags give you similar results with more capabilities?
Good question & I don’t know the answer. I’ve been thru much of the US, about 15-20,000 miles towing a 38 ft 5th wheel & am happy with the performance of my current truck with the sway bar. I also have Timbrens on the back.

not sure..
Sway bars do not provide or add weight or carry capacity
They work by reducing body roll
and some sway .
yes stiffer spring rates do control roll to an extent..by nature of being stiff or bags aired up more.
but the stabilizer bar is more effective at roll
And does not require stiffer springs

Even my SRW F250 XL 2WD... with the camper package... has the rear sway bar. It's rather spindly... if you want some steering rigidity, I would probably go aftermarket...
I had this saved from the Tremor forum, this is for the OEM rear bar. Looks like your around $330 for the OE bar sourcing parts.
That is AWESOME, thank you. Hated that the Lariat ult removed the camper packed with the sway bar.
I realize the helwig would be much beefier but 700 is a little more then I wanted to spend for a test

I believe, in reviewing the parts list on fordparts.com, quantity 4 bolts W500634S309 is actually W500634S439 for the '23+. The "S309" comes back for Transits, Fiestas and Explorers
Before ordering my 2024 F-350 I was researching rear sway bars and came across this link as well: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...-long-bed.html This is for a 2022 but has some good information. I wasn’t able to find it right now, but someone posted a link showing there are four sizes of sway bars, one for SRW gas, one for SRW Diesel, one for DRW gas, and another for DRW Diesel. Then there was a much larger one for F-450 pickups.
Some good info in that thread, I will be sourcing the parts to add the OEM bar to my truck. I will have to research it further because even in that thread there are some discrepancies with some of the Fastner hardware like @MyOthersa5-ton brought up.
