Hard starting
If my 2017 F450 has sat for a few days it takes several attempts to start.
The remote start fails.
From inside, glow plug indicator comes on the once it goes off & start button is pressed. Engine does a very short crank & glow plug indicator comes back on for a few seconds then goes off. Press start, partial crank again. Repeat process 3-6 times then motor will turn over & start.
Any ideas of what could be causing this issue?

One or both batteries bad, get them load tested.
For proper load test, at least one battery needs to be disconnected, or you'll get a false reading.

Replaced batteries and had new batteries load tested when this happened with the new batteries
Also replaced the fuel filters

Well, if you are sure they were properly tested, then the next thing to look for would be faulty ground connections.
These trucks are EXTREMELY sensitive to electrical faults.

Test seemed right, but truck ran 30 minutes to get there.

Did they disconnect at least one of the batteries before testing?

Yes, they disconnected one battery, tested the other. Connected other battery & disconnected the tested battery then tested the other.

I'd be tracing all the ground connections then.
Doesn't have the check engine light on does it?

The check engine light isn't on.
Sure would be nice if they didn't bury everything.
