It may be the owner loyalty rebate you're referring to. It's specifically for owners of '97 or newer F-150's. I got mine in the mail a couple days ago just before my '04 STX Flareside 4x4 arrived today.
Owner Loyalty and Conquest rebates are out- EVERYBODY now gets $1,000 on regular and supercab ($0 on Supercrew), or the reduced finance rates. Check your local bank/ credit union before you decide to go with the reduced Ford Credit rate- you may be better off taking the rebate, especally if you have stellar credit.

Huh? No such rebate in lieu of financing exists, at least according to FORD anyways. But if you can send a link along to prove otherwise, I'm sure myself and others who are taking delivery today (yeah!) would like to see it. But I am checking the CU just in case...
Sorry, but it only applies to '97 and newer FORDS. But, If you have one of the GM loyalty rebates in hand, I'm sure there's not a FORD dealer around who wouldn't honor it.
Thanks. I read some posts here a week or two ago that said it was for Fords "of course" and if you had a late model GM and now were purchasing a Ford. I guess it was too good to be true.
The Ford Conquest rebate for owners of GM, Dodge, and a few other competing brands ended on 12/3/03. That program offered a $1,000 rebate for 1997 and newer owners of certain non-Ford vehicles towards the purchase of a 2004 F-150.
I can't find any reference of this rebate being carried over after 12/3/03. Hope this clears the issue up.
Ford rebates are regional, and what you qualify for is based on your ZIP code. If anyone wants to post their ZIP code here, along with the type and body style of truck they're buying, I'll run it through Ford's system and let you know if you qualify. It's a private system that only dealers have access to; there's no link I can post here that would let you check it yourself.
Here's the outcome of trying to tie the loyalty rebate with the current 1K cash back or 0.9% for 48 mos. deal. It worked but the dealer took it in the shorts for me on the loyalty rebate. Apparently the loyalty deal was cancelled prior to it's scheduled end date. Thanks FORD, nothing like making promises you can't keep. Anyways, since I was fortunate enough to have a dealer who stood behind FORD's printed word, I made out pretty good.
Hope my dealer can get his money back but one thing's for sure, they've got a customer for life.
btw, as far as my new STX 4x4 Flareside, this thing is sweet!
I thought I was being jerked around. Knowing Ford had a $1,000 loyalty rebate, I sat down to sign the the papers & said "hey, where's my rebate?". Oh, not on the Supercrew. After reading the posts on this site, I guess the dealer didn't lie to me, but maybe could have mentioned this little detail up front.
1956MarkII - thanks for offering to check on this. I like my dealer/salesman, but it's sometimes good to get a second opinion. It's confusing with all of these "special" programs and especially when some incentives can be combined and others can't be combined. So here's my information.
I qualify for X-Plan, Military, and American Quarter Horse incentives, but can they be used together? I'm also trading in a Toyota Tundra to qualify for the Conquest incentive. My ZIP code is 52632.
My dealer "locked in" the X-Plan and Conquest incentives. Last night, I also received the $500 X-Plan Holiday certificate.
What incentive programs give me the best deal? A few years ago, I made out better by not using the X-Plan to qualify for other incentives.
Check out this dealer www.rochesterfordtoyota.com They are a one price no haggle dealer. I bought a truck from them a couple of months ago. They were actually under invoice on the truck I bought. The last time I looked at their web site, they had msrp & their lowest price listed on most of their vehicles. It might be good reference, since from what I've seen, the X plan is invoice plus a few hundred.
I just purchased, yesterday, one of the only 5.4 Supercab 6.5 ft XL in the Northwest. I took advantage of the 4 day only incentive offer. I chose the 72 mos. 1.9%. I am really happy with all the amenities on the strippo package. I also have a 02 Chevy 3/4 HD crewcab and drive the previous Ford 150's models on the job. These new F150's are vastly improved. I love it so far.
