hissing/ irregular power delivery
I have a 97 5.4 that is hissing and has weird accelerating under light load (it'll act like it's struggling to go and if you barely press down more the sound will go away and power picks way up) the sound is coming from the driver's side somewhere I'm guessing exhaust but i don't know I'm new to this, It sounds like it's infront of or at my feet in the driver's seat, I just changed all spark plugs and coil packs but usually when the hissing starts it also shifts a little hard, I've also noticed it shifts a LOT better when it's hot outside then cold unless I'm giving it good acceleration, I also have a code for an 02 sensor I believe bank 2 sensor 1, don't know if that would effect it. engine was rebuilt 3 years ago and only has maybe 50,000 miles on it. just looking for input from some more experienced people. thank you in advance
