It doesn't appear deep enough to be breached. If coolant isn't in the engine oil I wouldn't worry at all. The stains are???

I've run WWAAAAYYYY worse.

Our 2002 had the gold acid coolant from the factory, and when we changed it at 100k for the first time we had cavitation that was slightly worse than yours. We immediately changed to CAT ELC. At 500k+ now and it has not got any worse.
