Timing Cover Gasket
Hello everyone. I am rebuilding an 89 F250 with a 460. I have a fel-pro gasket set kit. The issue is the timing cover gasket has an extra hole on each side second hole up from the bottom legs. Not sure what they are for. I called Fel-Pro and they didn't either. Has anyone else come across this during their rebuild. Not sure if I should get another gasket from a different manufacturer (they don't have the extra holes) or use what I've got.

How can they be the same but different? If you don’t think it will seal where the extra holes are then try a different brand.
