Timing Cover Gasket Question

I went to put on my timing cover today and noticed that the felpro engine gasket kit comes with what seems to be two different gaskets. One it a thin blue paper gasket and the other is a thicker black foam looking gasket. Both line up with the bolt hole pattern on the timing cover. Which one do I use, and what is the other one for?

Ive used the fel-Pro R.A.C.E. setup for FEs a a couple times. I only noticed the one timing cover gasket. That being the blue paper type. Maybe, they have upgraded the kit to include a "Performance" version of the timing cover gasket. Either should work fine. I've had no issues with the blu paper gasket.

then again, mine is leaking now, but I think it's the intake or valve covers. I've just given up, and decided that FE motors have an active external lubrication system....deal with it :-)

Gee, all these years I couldn't decide if it was auxillary cooling, or rust proofing.

Thanks Gregg!
