1978 F-250 lift and tire size

I have a 1978 F 250 and was wondering what the maximum tire size I could fit with a 4 inch suspention lift and a 3 inch body lift. I wanted to get some of the new 38.5x15 swamper boggers. Would those fit or would they be too big. I had a set of 35x15.50 TSL Sx's with just a 3 inch body lift, and they fit fine. Any of you guys had experience with this?

i have ran everything from 33-36-37-39-44's on my "f-250"

the question is are you willing to trim the front fenders....

or all out cut the fenders???

you can run 44's easy with 6 inches o flift.....cut about 3 inche soutta the fenders all the way around

if you wanna run the new 38.5 boggers.... without no cutting.....do the 7 inches your talkin about

it all depends on how pretty your body is and what you wanna use the truck for
