My 73 F350 chassis cab has substantial rot in the roof on both sides. I'm looking for a donor roof or complete donor cab I can use to replace it (the rest of my cab is in rough shape also). If anyone has a lead on a relatively rust-free cab or cab roof, I would appreciate the info. Thanks in advance!
EDIT: I am located in Southern California.

Oh..... one day AMD will offer a roof panel for our trucks too...... they are like the forgotten favorites. I hate to cut up a good cab to fix my roof. Would rather swap cabs, but ain't got time for that.
Hey there. I am near LA. I know where there is a 73 long bed, c6, 360 engine. The owner had it up for sale a couple of years ago but he wanted way too much for it and it never sold. It is inoperable. Engine bad, trans bad, interior thrashed, but the cab is sound. You can PM me and I can tell you more.
Also, ck craig's list in San Diego. There is a guy who makes a living buying bumps and dents and parting them out. I wonder why you haven't tried the junk yards. I could find a cab roof today if I needed one.

Thanks for the info, I'll take a look at Craigslist. I work graveyard shifts, so I have very little time to go searching the junk yards, it is easier to search online and then just plan to go get it when I have a day off. I have already located one in Phoenix, but I'll take a look as you said and see what is in the San Diego area. I'm not a body guy at all, so I'll be having someone install it for me. I do plan on replacing the floor pans myself, it will be my first time doing any kind of body repair, so I figure something that eventually gets hidden under carpet will be the best place for me to start. Lol
Each year I see nice cancer-free 73-79 Ford pickups go thru our local Pick-n-Pull yard here in Shasta County, Calif.
If I only had 40-acres to drag home good metal relics (beyond my current Ford collection).
There was a '83 Ford E250 4x4 Club Wagon in the Rancho Cordova Pick-n-Pull yard Nov or 2024. If I were only younger.
Below is a private listing in my area - Shasta County, Calif.
Note - you might need to Bring a Trailer with you for "extra's" that you discover, like a complete parts-doner. 70’s Ford trucks and parts - auto parts - by owner - vehicle automotive sale - craigslist
