I really should put my derringer back in the box before I lose something. Provided of course I can remember WHERE I put it.

Went looking for my Bostitch drill the other day, never did find it. I dug out my old Porter Cable one, still gets the job done, though the packs are about gone.

I upped the Pedal Monster from sport 3 to sport 8. O M G this thing is a ROCKET! The trans can't keep up. If I try Track mode I feel I may break something. I don't know what it is actually doing but its overrevving the transmission all the way through 6th because it can't hop gears. Think I will back it down to maybe 4, its a bit hot right now, but look out Dude in F150 next time we meet all you will see are tail lights.

I really want a Pedal Monster, but fear what it will do to my mileage!

lets us know how your trans fluid looks the next drain and fill

mibe smelled burnt so I rolled back the PM and enabled the soft engagement feature.

Trans temps have remained steady @ 195* so not too much to worry about, its the flare between 1,2,3,4,5,6 that is the issue, it needs to be 2,4,6 for this kind of performance to work, but its using every gear, so going to back it down to where I had it.

I brought mine up from Sport 5 to Track 5 but haven't gunned it yet. Took the Derringer from level 2 to level 3 a bit ago... moving the PM up to track sure has a quicker throttle response.

Correction it was level 6 not 8. I turned it back to 3, no sense trying to break something. I have more than enough oomph at 3. Track? nope, been there, done that, not a good idea with 1050 pound feet of torque. My driveway cannot hold up to that. Already leaving light furrows with sport 3 and thats barely touching the pedal.
