I was surprised this morning with a ribeye roast. No occasion. Brother in law shows up with 15 pounds of meat. Maybe he felt bad that his kids are all my meat loaf. Or he just wanted a prime rib, and didn't want to cook it. I had to cook it.

We had friends over last night, and I BBQ'd not one, but TWO tri tips. Marinated in Kentucky bourbon. It was delish. Sorry. No pix.

The leftovers. Veggies and pan drippings are made into a sauce. I throw the bones on top of it. I still have all of the trimmings leftover. Leftovers are even better than eating the roast

Boiled beef. Corned beef. With a side of kimchi. Because the kimchi was on sale. Technically, it is cabbage.

Went to Walmart Friday to get some essentials (milk!) And on the way out I see they are already selling small boxes of assorted fireworks. July 4th is three months away and they are selling fireworks. Go figure...
