4R100 line pressure problem
I have a 1999 f350 7.3 4x4 with about 115k miles. I had an overheated transmission going from Las Cruces to Los Lunas a couple weeks ago. Basically a low grade 200 mile trip gaining about 3000ft in elevation. I limped home, did a atf and filter change and everything seamed great. Now, I am losing line pressure from a start up of about 60 psi and WOT of about 240. After about 5 minutes I loose pressure slowly to zero. I then can restart the truck and pressure returns to 60psi, then once again it falls. I was thinking a stuck open EPC solenoid, any other ideas before I start spending money?
