I got a 1969 F100 with a missing passenger headlight bezel. The grill is white so I'm assuming that means it's the steel. I can't find a replacement/replica steel bezel anywhere. The anodized aluminum are easily purchased though. I don't really want aluminum, then I'd have to replace the grill too. I don't imaging painting the aluminum would be a good option? (I also THINK this is a 1967 grill on it?)
The Marti report... It's cool I guess.
Anyrate - everyone loves pictures so here is the mess I got myself into:
The hood/grill are a disaster though. It had white primer brushed on all over the hood and grill after what looks like an attempt to get it down to metal with an angle grinder. Overspray white paint on the front license plate. It could have come off before spray painting it, sheesh. And the trim piece that should be green between the grill and bumper is white now too. Other than that, this truck is all original, no rust and runs great...
The right headlight door (painted) is part number C7TZ-13064-C that fits the 1967/69 F100 / F350 Standard Cab trucks that came with the steel bumper and grille.
