Headlights, What's New?

After ten years one of my HID bulbs burned out. Can't remember where I even got them. It looks like if I stick with HID I'm going to have to replace the bulbs, ballasts and wiring in order to make something work. What's everyone running? Is it better to go to LED's?

Not really new but LED projectors, the big upside with any LED light is no need to upgrade any wiring.

LED Projectors are the new new. There are a handful of places that sell housings set up for them.

I used bajahidretrofits. https://www.bajahidretrofits.com/store/

Stock headlights with Phillips LED bulbs. Works great for me. I think most of the aftermarket headlamps look like cheap junk. I suspect they work like many of the parts that start out from China.

I tend to agree, most aftermarket housing look out if place to me. The place above retrofitted the LED projector into a new stock housing for me.

The light output to me is night and day compared to a stock halogen bulb. I didn't want to just put an led into our stock housings and potentially blind others. My truck also sits a smidge taller so people tend to flash me already.

I like that it has a clean crisp cutoff line too.
