How hard is it to order a new ign lockset and change it out?
I've got average skills
My ign key hits stops and is getting very hard to turn on /off

The key cylinder is easily removed. There are YouTube videos.
But you may have a problem with the associated linkage.
I don't think your 2007 has PATS of some type (chipped key etc.). This could complicate key replacement if it does.
