@diggerrigger Open your drivers door, in the inside front of door jamb, right near the wind shield pillar(like on it), look for a 4 digit sticker, what does it say?
Good read. Numbers are very slightly different but close. OP in linked thread mentions CA truck manufactured in Kansas City. My truck's VIN shows KC also. It was originally sold in Indiana.
Verified as CA emissions compliant.
I think this is date of manufacture for my PCM.
08-24-94. My truck was built 09-20-94

Don't see anything. Am I looking in the right place?
One of my concerns about the PCM is is it for a E4OD or 4R70W? Is there a problematic difference?
I have been maintaining a 1986 truck since it was new. AOD transmission though. I'm not yet versed in these more "modern" vehicles with computer controlled shifting.
I have a recently acquired 1995 F150 5.0 MAF 4R70W 2WD Eddie Bauer edition truck. Previous owner had given up on diagnosing drivability problems.
He did purchase a used or refurbished PCM. I wanted to verify it is correct for the truck.
Calibration code
This is what is installed
Any insight would be appreciated.TIA
Your factory one would have said LPT
That is what we all (at the dealer) considered the "tear tag" or "prom" calibration
That may or may not be wrong, but EVERY processor I ever pulled out that was stock, the tear tag matched the calibration codes BIG numbers
4-R54-R10 is your calibration where "LPT" is the programmed read only memory (PROM)

Nope, that is wrong.
There is no direct mapping of information of the LPT part.
Every processor? EEC-IV? I've never seen that in MAF or SD.
