I asked about bushing replacement at my Ford dealer. They said try a carburetor rebuilder. They didn't have replacements for those bushings. I think I would try asking Mike's carburetor if he has a lead for you. You could also try getting bushings at Applied Industrial Supply. That would entail removing, measuring and replacing. I would try NAPA too, see if they have a solution. It's because of the time needed to do that we went with a new throttle body. It was expensive but nothing that some under your breath cursing can't cure. You could also try to source one at car-parts.com

Couple more things, be sure you have eliminated any other vacuum leaks outside of the throttle body. And an idle that waivers around, especially after accelerator being actuated, and even between actuations, ie hunting as you described is the same thing I experienced. Good luck and be sure to report back any progress.

You gotta be in the right place at the right time. Went to the U-pull yesterday to find a ICM connector. Stumbled across a '88 with a nice TB. Been looking for a clean one for a few years. Now I can reconnect the cooling water. Unit has original IAC and TPS.

Found a bunch of connectors with lock tabs still pliable and intact. Other goodies as well.
