Duramax VGT Sensor?
Watched a video on a ford tool that uses the vgt position sensor from a duramax on a 6.0 to monitor the vgt vane positions.
I suspect I have a sluggish vgt solonoid and this would probably make diagnosing it pretty easy.
Has anyone around here tried it?
I assume it's a 3 or 4 wire sensor, with ground, power, sense and maybe 5v ref.
I have a scope and it would be pretty easy to monitor. I'm not sure my scantool can perform the actuator test that the Ford IDS has.
