Recently my 2019 F250 display has gone bonkers, it used to stay on the selected screen, now when I turn the key on it randomly goes to other screens. Example I normally have it set to show the trip, miles to empty, etc. Now when I turn on the key it will go to tire pressure, or one of the other settings. Anyone now what would cause this?
Bad battery/batteries will cause all kinds of screwy electrical/electronic issues.
So, I suggest getting the batteries tested, load tested, not just voltage.
And, if it is dual batteries, remember that at least one battery needs to be disconnected before testing each battery.
I just had issues with my truck and replaced both batteries, now on the third set since new.
Hehe this stuff makes me so happy to hear. All new trucks are total junk. Why buy such garbage. I knew this type of thing was coming why can’t every one else.
I'm happy to hear you enjoy life without batteries so much. But doesn't hand cranking the Model T and having to individually light the carbide headlamps get old sometimes?

Why are you lurking here then if you are so against these trucks???

Being happy that someone has an issue with their vehicle is pretty sad. You should find a forum for your 1971 Vega and discuss how happy you are with the lack of creature comforts.
I think you're missing two letters in your username...
I took my F250 in yesterday for an oil change and talked to the service manager about the display going crazy, he said it would cost $150.00 to flash the computer, and then it might not solve the problem. He stated if the flash didn't solve it, most likely computer would have to be replaced, i did a quick pass ono flashing the computer. When
I got home I decided to disconnect the battery for about 5 minutes and reconnected, Vola, the display is working again.
I called the service manager and gave him the news, his reply was "good to know"
