So..I still have door problem...but today while I was idling at, maybe or maybe not a McDonald's,all of a sudden my brakes went straight to floor. The best part of my silver anniversary was the brakes. The brake light and brake indicator both were on. I drove for a bit,cause I'm not a quiter, and decided to pull over and check fluid.it was half so i filled it. Nothing changed. I still can brake but it's all the way down
i have read some old posts,cause i knew you would tell me too, but they mainly spoke of light features. This is more of,omg where is a semi turn off hill ,just in cases case.😬
First check for brake fluid leaks at all 4 wheels and the brake lines
I assume you will find no leaks and the problem is either the master cylinder internally bypassing or a faulty RABS valve
Best way to check that RABS valve is by blocking off the rear port of the master cylinder and retesting the brakes
If the pedal still goes down replace the master cylinder
If the pedal holds, replace the RABS valve
