Shipping weight

To qualify for business tax credits is it the shipping weight, GVWR or other considerations?

What is the shipping weight on 2004 F250Supercab, Shortbed, 4x4, V10

is it the actual weight of the vehicle, or the weight rating? i heard the comerical for the business tax rebate t his morning, thought it meant the weight rating, like 8800 gvw .. etc. i am sure someone else will know for sure.

It's 6000 lbs. or more GROSS VEHICLE WEIGHT. That means every Ford F-series, Expedition, Excursion, and Econoline qualifies- nothing else.

It's the GVWR rating, not the curb weight of the vehicle.

I think the new tax laws are in effect for 6000 GVWR and above, of which most full size SUV's and Trucks are over nowadays.
