Thumbs up

Painless appears to be an excellent option They seem a little high but but I have one of there install manuals & it has incredibly detailed instructions and kit comes with countless extra options for extra circuits . Excellent labeling of wires printed on wires........To me the they appear the best..........

I have only ever used American Autowire and have had good luck and experience with them. Just another option to look at. Many quality kits out there to choose from.

Painless generic is half as much as the vehicle specific one. Save some bucks

Last time I checked American Autowire was GM only (for an OEM wiring harness), unless things have changed...

Most of the non model specific (universal/generic) are always going to be cheaper than a direct replacement. Nothing that an avid DIY'er would not be able to handle.

I put in a Painless generic bulkhead kit for my 67 restomod. Very goo kit with options.

Painless also makes a direct replacement kit if you are bone stock.

Either are good choices.
