Wiring Trouble
In my last post I had a question about some of my issues and questions about the clock spring and whatnot
Well in my adventure to track down the issue I seem to have opened a can of worms
I’ve had an issue recently in my 1994 F-150 XL that just hit 180k on the dash
Ever since I bought the truck the ABS light has been on, the horn hasn’t worked, and neither has cruise control. I figured no biggie and went on with my life
Well now here I am on my weekend trying to figure everything out, I’ve tested sensors, wires, codes, lights, you name it and I still can’t wrap my head around it. I hooked up the RABS module to a wire and got ABS code 12 which I believe shows that the brake fluid reservoir is reading bad or low. Well I look at it and it just so happens that a wire is completely disconnected from the connector
Before trying to hook it back up I decided I would test it first to make sure there’s actually current going through it, and when I did there was nothing
The other wire tests with 12-14v and the black wire is grounded
Ive already gone down the wire a bit and tested it and I’m just not quite sure what I need to do other than just replace the wire but I’d really rather not tear into the harness
If anybody has some insight I’d really appreciate it.
