Years ago when I bought my 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. The factory headliner was sagging in several spots. I went to Hobby Lobby and bought the closest gray material they had. And used the 3M stuff. So far it's holding up just fine. I've never heard of the Camie 303 brand.
Upper and lower vinyl glued in place.
This is a mock-up. 1/2” aluminum square stock for upper divider and 1/4” stock divider will be polished and installed with countersunk stainless screws, the pleated tweed will be the center filler panel.

The adhesives that I chose are what the upholstery pros around here recommended.
It gets really hot here in Southern California. Cab temps might hit 130.
The Camie 303 is good for gluing foam to foam or foam to fabric, but the Weldwood landau glue is necessary for gluing fabric to fiber board or aluminum.
I learned a ton on these door panels. I made a lot of mistakes and there are changes I’d make if I were to make another pair. The good part is that the aluminum panel material can be stripped and redone, whereas the fiberboard cannot. Plus the aluminum doesn’t warp from moisture.
The door panels were a big project! Hope you had fun with it, let’s see them!

Thank you. I'm still not done. I'm working on two trucks at the same time, basically getting nothing done. Trying to coordinate a 429 build for the Unibody, also. I should have the door panels done this weekend. Pics to follow.
