Who else keeps having issues?
my 2022 f450 had a rear main seal leak around the starter at 20,000 miles and got it fixed.
now at 43,000 miles it’s wet all around the bell housing with motor oil.
also, I have oil drops blown back all over the rear axle and fuel tank, and top of transfer case.
I assume it’s the rear main, again.
my f350 had the rear main go at 20k also.
is This normal for these things to go every 20-30k miles? I mean damn. The entire transmission will have to be pulled again. It’s under warranty, but hell, it will be costly outside of it.
They supposedly Replaced the seal with an updated one so it wouldn’t leak again.
If it's covered by warranty and other than the inconvenience of being without a truck sheet happens. My 2016 with 73k miles no leaks. But did have to to replace a turbo on my dime. Sheet happens.

wouldn’t mind but just got it back from the dealer after 2 weeks getting an entire new front axle.
ring and pinion failed and ate all the teeth off.

Obviously not normal.
Maybe there is some issue with the crankshaft surface where the seal rides on it.
Maybe the tech at the dealer is a knucklehead and didn't get the replacement seal installed right back at 20K.
Maybe it is something else entirely.
