I just got my first Ford Truck and I LOVE IT! 2014 F-150 Super Duty FX4, Harley Davidson edition. I have a question though. When I put it in 4WH, it goes in reverse with no issues but after being driven just a couple of miles, when I put it in reverse it's like I'm standing on the brakes and it really takes some gas to get her moving. I've had this happen to me before with another vehicle (2WD) and it was because the filter in the transmission was clogged but I'm not at all sure about it with this one since it doesn't do that in 2WD. Any suggestions?

Reason: Added information
I only use it when there's snow and ice on the roads but there are clear spots. The parking lots I was in were clear though. My husband was the driver of the 4WD's until his death last April. I've never had to use it myself. I reckon I need a little basic education on 4WD do's and don'ts.

With 4WD, it's pretty simple. If you can see pavement, you don't need it (occasional clear patches are the exception). If you can safely drive more than about 30MPH, you don't need it. Remember, 4WD only helps with acceleration, it does nothing for braking.
