A/C - Increased Refrigerant Charge

AIR CONDITIONING - INCREASED REFRIGERANT CHARGE - VEHICLES BUILT THROUGH 8/30/94

LIGHT TRUCK:
1994-95 BRONCO, F-150-350 SERIES, F-47

ISSUE:
Ford Climate Control Division has increased the refrigerant charge in the subject vehicles from 2 lbs. 1 oz. to 2 lbs. 6 ozs. Also 94-97 trucks call for 2 oz of oil additional over the service data.

ACTION:
When service to the A/C system is required, recharge the A/C system with 2 lbs. 6 oz. of R-134a. Make the necessary corrections to the 1994-95 Service Manuals, pages 12-00-35, 12-03A-58 for 1994 and 12-00-39, 12-03A-56 for 1995.

My bad, the change I found for the pulley is 95, so 93 system in a 94 should mean you dont need to use that

Where does this red one plug into? I looked on the back of the compressor and hose manifold no plugs or any electrical. Its the high pressure switch i believe correct me if im wrong.

Top plug for compressor, bottom for high pressure switch.

No where to plug in the red plug. No high pressure switch on hose manifold

Do you have the switch?

It screws on the *** end of the line set. Post more pics when you can please. Can always jump the switch easy enough

See that cap? That is where high side switch threads, as I stated...Make sure the scheader valve is actually tight. Been there and done that.

Yah, you need to acquire one if you want to use it or just jump the SOB.

I got the 980k6 duralast belt from autozone says effective length is 98.0. It's still too short. Says it fits the f150 4.9 with the a/c. I got the new compressor with the smaller pulley. Some how it's still too short.
I'm also installing it the way the diagram on the truck states.
Never had this problem installing belts in vehicles before
Any other belts you guys recommend?

Better post a picture because that's the right belt
Maybe one of your idler or tensioner pulleys is too big?
