MAF Values

Newbie here in New Mexico. 2014 Ford F350 Plat. 6.7….STOCK, 80k, purchased new, no towing. I recently bought an Innova 5610 scanner because a Ford Dealer wants to charge me $5500 for a new Turbo. CEL with a P132B DTC, along with two incidents of ‘limp mode’. Truck seems to run perfectly after clearing DTC, but still sets a P132B occaisionally. I have cleaned both the MAP and MAF sensors, with no change that I can tell. My question is about the MAFA values (no.30 on live data). My idle value is 18.5 g/s, but research shows it should be 2-7 g/s at idle (600 rpm). Mine then go to 180 g/s at 2500 rpm, in a straight line, (i made a graph).. I there anyone out there who can check their MAF on a similar 6.7, with a scanner, at various RPM’s, and share the information. I do not plan to purchase a new MAF sensor until I confirm that my values are out of range……no DTC about the MAF.. thank you very much. Any other suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi
Just had this business with our 2016 6.7 just over 100k miles. I know different turbo setup.

Kept throwing P132B. I replaced the MAF in November. No more P132B
Drove 1500 miles pulling our 5th not a hiccup in mid December!
Got here 2 weeks later starts throwing P159F on cold engine first time you hit the go pedal would get reduced engine power. Clear the error cycle off engine then on. No more problems the rest of the day.
Dealer tech said turbo replacement required initially.
Had them pull the MAP and examine it was clean. They looked at MAF at my request and replaced it. So far no more P159F.
Just be careful
Sensors are cheaper than Turbo replacements but even OEM quality can give ya heartache.
Also what did you use to clean the sensors?
It can make a difference. They make a MAF cleaner to use on these.

Thanks,Roadrunner II. I used CRC Mas Air Flow Sensor Cleaner. Do you have a scanner that will show your MAF values in live data?

P132B again

So the P132B is back after 2 MAF sensors went bad and 1 bad MAP sensor
I hooked up and pulled trailer out of driveway and backed into shed. Quite a bit of idling it pops the P132B
At a lose here. Any ideas of a easier fix. Truck has just over 100k miles is stock
I can't delete.
Would a stock better tune fix this?

bingo

there are a handful of sensors and often it is more than one that the pcm uses to declare fault codes

MAF ,MAP and EBP play in a balance in the sand box. It’s good to take snap shots of all your airflow sensors at different rpms so that you can go back and compare when the gremlins come around.

I would verify the scan tool is reading the PIDs correctly. 18.5 g/s may be scaled wrong and it's 1.85g/s. I am not familiar with the Innova.
