Last week I hit a Kia (shared fault) and sustained some damage to my F-250. The insurance company estimate includes replacing the LF wheel, air dam, LF headlight assbly, front bumper and fog light bezel. There is also a repair to the sheet metal, LF fender, pictured. What should I be looking for at the collision repair center (Ford dealer) that suggests that they are proficient in aluminum repair? They say they are....... But, no examples on their lot to look at. Thanks in advance
I don't have any experience getting repairs in an aluminum truck... Sorry. But, If they're replacing the headlight, and you can get the broken one... I'd be interested in it for research purposes. I'd like to tear it down. I'd pay for shipping, etc.
Super Duties have been aluminum since 2017 and F150's before that. I'd think that a Ford dealer body shop should have aluminum body repair under control by now.
If the paint is not scratched, they can do dentless repair as well. Those are usually outsourced as not many body shops have a DPR guy on staff, they are worth their weight in gold.

"best" answer ....thnx .... body shop manager "guarantees" the repair and paint match ........
