I have a 2017 F-250 Super Duty that the apple CarPlay & Bluetooth have decided not to work correctly. It is as if neither one recognizes my phone when it comes to phone calls. I have tried multiple cords plugged into the usb ports. When making or receiving a call with Bluetooth or CarPlay the trucks screen shows the person’s name like normal but does not ring through the speakers just only on the phone, not through truck. Once you answer the call the volume is extremely muffled only through the tiny speakers in the A-pillars / door columns. In order to hear better you have to turn the speaker phone on. I no longer see BT or CarPlay symbols as option to use for sound…
So far I have deleted all phones from Bluetooth & CarPlay then reinstalled on both. I reset the radio holding the volume and seek forward buttons. I have disconnected the ground terminals one both batteries for about 30 plus minutes to try resetting the radio that way. I’m scratching my head for more ideas……
**The radio plays loud and proud using both Bluetooth and CarPlay with no problems…
