Rocker arm differences?

Anyone know why the rocker arms for the intake and exhaust are listed as different part numbers? Holding them side by side they are identical besides the clip and base moved to the opposite side. The stamping on the arms are the same as well.

Pushrods and exhaust rocker let go on my #4, and a friend has rockers he’ll give me but doesn’t know if they are intake or exhaust.

The rocker arm itself is the same if I recall. It's the little spring clip and maybe the pedestal that are different.

That would make sense. I’ll inspect them really well and see if there is anything else I’m not seeing.
