Chrome Tow Rings
I have a few questions for those who have the chrome tow rings. 1)Where did you get them and cost? 2) How durable are they not only in pulling strength, but resistance to scratches and tarnishing? And 3)How hard are they to put on? I have the standard tow rings. Do I just back the bolts out enough to through the spring hanger and swap them and re bolt?

Hey I figured someonne would have jumped on this one by now, but........ anyway if you visit your local Harley shop they should be able to but you in touch with a local shop that does chrome plating. You ahould be able to have your factory hooks chromed, that way you know they are strong enough and if the shop does a good job then they should be quite "scratch resistant" I'm thinking that if you are adding chrome here you are probably like me and only ever used them for tying up the dog anyway.
