I'm looking at buying an F250 PSD and I'm wondering how people feel about the size of the SuperCab- In your opinions, is it comfortable enough for 4 adults, or is the extra size worth it for the CrewCab? Thanks-
This is an easy one, if You like the two adults that will be rear seat passengers, the CrewCab is the way to go. On the other hand if You don't care much for the rear seat passengers, the SuperCab is the answer, or maybe the additional cost of the CrewCab is an issue, forget about the rear seat passengers comfort. One other solution, buy on the X-plan, and get the CrewCab. The CrewCab resale should be much better. I have owned both, and did not to be concerned with rear seat passengers, the CrewCab would be My choice again.
I am a single 21 yr old guy and I wish I would have gone with a crewcab. much more room back there. Does make it nice that no one ever begs me for a ride to cramped back there.
One thing you might want to consider is a F250 CREW cab with a PSD will have very little LEGAL payload. Go with a F350 if you're going to haul anything (at least legally) more than a bag of groceries
I have a '99 SD Super Cab, my friend has a '01 Crew Cab. I'm 6'4" and do not fit in the back of my truck. I've been in the back of my buddies and it's like being in the back of a Caddy but with leg room. If you plan on hauling people around get the Crew Cab, if not the Super Cab is great. My kids are grown and gone(thank god) so the Super Cab is perfect for neices, nephews anybody that is fairly small. Adults fit back there but it's not anywhere near as comforatble as the Crew Cab. Hope this helps........
I am 6'2" and with the driver's seat adjusted to fit me, I can crawl into the back and still have 6" of room between my knees and the back of the driver's seat. Wow, what room!
Unlike my previous vehicles, the driver's seat still has more aft travel available after I'm comfortable. I guess a really big guy could still be comfortable in there.
Crewcab all the way, those suicide doors on the supercab are worthless if you are in a parking lot. Also the doors will close nice and solid on the cc. I think you will do better on resale too with the cc..
The SC is great for small kids or just a little extra cab room BUT NOT GOOD for Adults! There have been several times that I wished I had the CC, but I didn't want to give up the bed length and I really didn't want to go any longer than a SC Long Bed. Also, don't plan on putting anybody with any height in the center of the 40/20/40 seat in the front.
I wouldn't go back. I can't even imagine having a smaller vehicle. It's worth every penny, even if you aren't hauling people, for the convenience of 4 "real" doors.
I would go Crew Cab all the way. I have had...still have....a Super Cab and I really do like it also. I am 6'4" and 290# (big bones OK!) and I am very comfortable in my Super Cab. It is just that the Crew gives you plenty of room for passengers or just to throw stuff and keep it out of the weather.
I've had both as well and I'd never go back from my crew cab. It's awesome to load up a 4 place snowmobile trailer and be able to comfortably take all 4 people and their gear and go in one vehicle.
Gonna go with the rest of the crowd and let you know the super cab is NOT suitable for people to sit in the back. Don't know why Ford designed it that way. Great place to store stuff but it does not hold people. I am 6'-3" and I could not even get my kids car seats in back. It must be crew cab all of the way.

I am only 5' 8" and I can not fit in the back seat of my SC.
I do, however, have two kids aged 6 and 8, and they fit fine
(for now). I have a 4 year unlimited-mileage lease, so in 4
years, I'm getting a Crew Cab :P In the meantime, the 8-year-old
may get a little uncomfortable, he takes after his mother's
side - tall!

Crew Cab....I am 6'6" and well...Plesantly Plump, Huskey, Big Boned, Fat or however you want to put it. My father-in-law has a Super Cab. It sucks because even though I don't have to ride in back I still have to skoot the seat up for the other (shorter) people in back. In my Crew Cab I can sit comfortably in the back seat (which has only happened once. My truck = I drive) with out making anybody move their seat up.
